2. 1- DPA Background -­‐   Development  and  Partnership  in  Ac4on  (DPA)  is  a  Cambodian   NGO   localized   from     an   interna4onal   NGO   (Coopera4on   Interna4onal  Pour  le  Development  et  la  Solidarity)  devoted    to   empowering   and   suppor4ng   poor   and   vulnerable   people   in   rural   areas   in   order   to   improve   their   quality   of   life   through   sustainable  development.  
3. 2- DPA’s Programmes DPA’s  programmes  focus  on:   •  Natural  resource  management   •  Extrac4ve  industry  social  and  environmental  impacts       •  Food  security  and  sustainable  agriculture   •  climate  change   •  WASH  and  Water  management         •  Gender    
4. 3- Promoting Child Rights in DPA’s Programmes     •  DPA  has  a  Child  Protec>on  Policy  that  approve  by   Governing  Board  Director    in  2013  to  protect   children  and  helps  to  create  a  safe  and  posi>ve   environment  for  children  who  benefit  from  our   different  projects.     •  This  policy  applies  to  all  DPA  staff,  counterparts,   consultants,  volunteers,  board  members  who  have   contractual  obliga>ons  to  DPA  to  preserve  the   dignity.         4  
5. 4- Activities of DPA’s Programme contribute to Rights of the child                           5   Village library in Katot village, Stung Treng province 2009-2011 Kindergarten class in Prey Veng village, Chumkiri district, Kampot province2005-2011 Children school enrolment campaign in Steung Treng Student in ICDST target areas actual practiced during hand-washing campaign at their school
