When we think of hacking we usually don't think of federal procurement. We think of building things from scratch, software, hardware, etc in a startup company, as a freelancer, OSS, etc. But if we're ever to renew our driver's license from our iPhones, reduce the federal deficit and return a"government by the people and for the people" we should consider offering our expertise to our government and compete on bids and build things that are useful and matter.
