  1. Most people don’t work on what they love. Almost everyone

have some work they really love to work on, something that makes them excited & gets them into flow. However, almost everyone aren’t working on what they love, but instead make their living by working on something else.
  2. Most people don’t love their work. It’s difficult to love

your work if it doesn’t excite you & if it isn’t the thing you love to work on. People have dreams to work on something, but they end up working on realizing someone else’s dream. Furthermore, many people don’t feel good working under managers, who limit their freedom, & think they are better just because they’re paid more & are upper in the hierarchy.
  3. It takes courage to quit your job & work on

what you love. People need to make a living, and quitting their current work for a new & risky career doing what they love, takes a lot of courage (or naivety). The probability of success is so low & the risks/costs of failing are so high, that most people won’t even take the 1st step to try it out.
  4. Enable people to
 work on what they love,

    love their work,
& make a living out of it.
  5. Team-up to realize your dreams. We believe the key is

to team-up with like-minded people who share the same passion/purpose & form a company together.. Doing this together with others provides the confidence & courage to take the 1st step. As a team, you also have more resources so it’s less risky & more likely to succeed in making a living out of working on what you love.
  6. Teal-up to realize your dreams. We believe that in order

for a team to be effective & successful, it shouldn’t have managers & hierarchy. Self-managed (“Teal”) teams are more successful because everyone truly care about every customer, & because everyone are happier & more productive being free of managers telling them what to do.

This term is taken from a book called: “Reinventing Organizations”, by Frederic Laloux.

of the team. Since the team is self-managed, there’s no manager to turn to. Luckily, the app offers tools for conflict resolution, so the members work out the issue.
  29. The nice thing about self-managed teams, where everyone are owners,

is that everyone really care for each customer. Since they’re also passionate about their work, such teams are very effective & successful.
  30. So, after about a year, Paul is making enough money

that he quits his day-job to work full time on his real passion.
