  9. KIN LANE, POSTMAN, API EVANGELIST
One question I ask every guest, this podcast is called
Developer Love, so I'm curious, what's one thing that you're
    loving right now?
“The scope of the conversations and the diversity and the
people that I get exposed to are really what keeps me
going. And I totally dig my job, it's cool like that.”
What would you say is the secret to building things
    developers love?
“Yeah, I mean, it's got to be useful. It's got to solve a
problem in their world, reduce some friction, help them feel
more accomplished, feel like they're doing well, stay afloat
in their drowning, sprint driven world.”

  10. PEGGY RAYZIS, APOLLO
What would you say is the secret to building things
    developers love?
“I think coming at it from a place of empathy is
really important to understanding what pain points
our developers have and how to solve them, and I
also think you have to be open to really listening to
them and making them feel heard.”
“I think empathy and listening are the two
ingredients to building something developers love
    and are passionate about.”

  11. BRIAN DOUGLAS, GITHUB
What's one thing that you're loving right now?
“Honestly, One thing I am loving right now is
    actually being at home.”
“Do I really need to be on the road once a month
or can I do it once a quarter and still host once a
week live streaming? Providing very impactful
content in growing communities from the comfort
    of my home?”

  12. JANA BORUTA, HASHICORP
What do you think is the role of events when it
comes to building and sustaining communities?
“From the very beginning, our conferences were
about knowledge sharing. How do we build
    genuine connections amongst the community
    members, genuine connections between
HashiCorp employees and the attendees, and
    then also trust building right?”

  13. TIM O’REILLY, O’REILLY MEDIA
“Because if you have a real community, you care
about the people in it, you want them to succeed.
They're not there for you, you're there for them. A
little bit goes back to one of our slogans at
O'Reilly, ‘Create More Value Than You Capture.’”
