  1. Freelance Cash Flow in 15 Minutes a Week A simple

weekly routine for invoices, late payments and owner pay FreelanceCashLab · markorogge.gumroad.com
  2. 1. The problem Revenue looks fine on paper, but cash

arrives late. Most freelancers track work, not money in the bank.
  3. 2. One number every Monday Cash in bank + invoices

due in 14 days − bills due in 14 days − tax reserve = what you can actually pay yourself
  4. 3. Set a tax reserve on every payment Move a

fixed % of each client payment to a separate account the day it lands. Decide the % with your tax pro.
  5. 4. Chase late invoices on a schedule Day 1 overdue:

friendly reminder Day 7: firm reminder + late-fee terms Day 14: call, then pause new work
  6. 5. Price from your target, not your gut Monthly target

÷ billable hours you really get (~50–60%) = minimum hourly rate. Quote projects above it.
  7. 6. Scope before you quote A one-page intake: goal, deliverables,

deadline, budget, who approves. Stops scope creep before it starts.
  8. 7. The weekly 15-minute routine 1) Update bank balance 2)

Log new invoices 3) Send reminders 4) Move tax reserve 5) Pay yourself from the Monday number
  9. Free + paid templates Spreadsheets for all of the above
