Centre for Socio-Environmental (LCSES) Satellite Geodesy, Geophysics, Remote Sensing, Earth System Monitoring Multi-GNSS & GNSS-R; Gravimetry, and multi-sensor EO for water, ice, and climate-sensitive monitoring PEA field campaigns; GNSS & geodetic instrumentation; Repeated absolute-gravity observations in Antarctica & Austrian Alps Long-term geodetic reference observations linking ice- sheet mass balance, sea-level contribution, and solid- Earth response under one observing strategy.
Transect A coordinated supersite combining multi-GNSS reference networks, GNSS-R, quantum gravimeter, and fiber-optic DTS, delivering the first continuous, collocated constraint on East Antarctic mass balance, GIA, and glacier flux, signals that today remain entangled in every satellite-only estimate of sea-level rise. Andromeda would function not only as a research station, but as a next-generation Antarctic calibration/validation hub for satellite and in-situ observing systems across ice, water, and climate-sensitive geophysical variables.
