The American who taught Japanese about Quality
+ Inspection of goods/ services is very good and should
be done as much as possible to improve quality.
+ What is most important in our business is profitability.
Nothing else matters.
+ What works best is to buy the cheapest. Lets
have as many suppliers as possible in our list so we can get the cheapest quote.
+ Planning is a waste! Nothing gets done as per
the plan.
+ We have no budget for training. People should know
what to do. Why do we need to train them?
+ Fear works! No one works if they are not
afraid of the consequences.
+ If something goes wrong in the organization, someone needs
to take the blame. The workforce causes most of the failures.
+ We don’t care how it is done. What matters
is the results.
+ We work in departments. What happens in other departments
is not of any concern to me.
+ Quantity of output is more important than the quality.
