Google Business Group: Lean UX for Women Techmakers

Originally intended to be a design to deploy workshop sharing tips and tricks to practice lean user experience and design thinking based on various startups and design-driven projects within big companies. Later presented at GBG on Women's Day for Women Techmakers community.

6. We made the mistake of focusing on engineering first and customer development second. Obvious mistake!
7. For starters, we didn't validate our startup idea. Obvious mistake!
8. Every feature is a commitment, a financial debt, even if its not used. People really don’t get this!
9. Leap-of-faith Assumptions assume the Problem assume the Solution assume to Solve
10. Problem Do customers know they have a problem? Solution Would they buy if there is a solution? Solve Is it feasible to solve and sell?
11. Problem Cannot fit in. It’s either too tight or to loose. Solution Cut off a leg or two to lose few pounds, or Put up perfect fit fashion stores. Solve Manufacture all designs in all possible sizes.
12. Biggest mistake of all time is jump straight to “solve”.
13. You have to do 10 times better, not 10% better.

15. Figure out how to sell and make the product, before spending time on engineering.
