More than selfies and cat pictures: How the UCT teaches future superstars to use collaboration technologies in business scenarios

Join this session to learn how the UCT structures the complex world of collaboration in student classes. The UCT provides the UniConnect platform, which is based on HCL Connections and used by more than 40 universities for teaching and research projects. Lecturers from different disciplines also use the “Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW)“ course material which has been continuously developed by the UCT and is already being taught in several member institutions including the University of Koblenz-Landau, EURO FH Hamburg and more. Groupwork is studied from a technical, organizational and also sociological point of view. Companies using collaboration technologies are also adapting our material, such as the 8C-Framework and the IRESS-Framework as “academic infusion” to complement their internal employee training.
