4. 6 “Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers.” JOHN 15:6 NLT
5. 6 “Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned.” JOHN 15:6 NLT
6. 7 “But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted!” JOHN 15:7 NLT
7. 8 “When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.” JOHN 15:8 NLT
8. Jesusstressed how crucial it is for us to be FRUITFUL FOLLOWERS of Christ. FRUITFUL FOLLOWERS
9. He also shows us how to bear much fruit for our Heavenly Father.
10. Jesus certainly cares about His followers bearing fruit for God.
11. The Lord made this truth clear when He said, “when you bear much fruit, you are my true disciples.”
12. This brings Great Glory to our Heavenly Father.
13. Holiness & Goodness THE FRUIT OF Holiness & Goodness
14. 8 “Once your life was full of sin’s darkness, but now you have the very light of our Lord” Ephesians 5:8 TPT
15. 8 “Shining through you because of your union with him.” Ephesians 5:8 TPT
16. 8 “Your mission is to live as children flooded with his revelation-light!” Ephesians 5:8 TPT
17. 9 “And the supernatural fruits of his light will be seen in you— goodness, righteousness, and truth.” Ephesians 5:8 TPT
18. The believer’s position has changed from DARKNESS LIGHT (SIN) (RIGHTEOUSNESS)
19. Believers are to CHANGE THEIR WALK to correspond to their position in Christ.
20. As people who have LIGHT from the Lord, our actions should reflect our faith. LIGHT
21. We should live above reproach morally so that we will reflect God’s goodness to others.
22. 14 “So you must live as God’s obedient children.” 1 Peter 1:14 NLT
23. 14 “Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then.” 1 Peter 1:14 NLT
24. 15 “But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy.” 1 Peter 1:15 NLT
25. Our lives and character should be in the process of becoming CONFORMED,
26. Both inwardly and outwardly, to God’s standards
27. Holiness means being totally devoted or dedicated to God Holiness
28. SET ASIDE for His special use & SET APART from sin & its influence.
29. Praise to God THE FRUIT OF heart- felt Praise to God
30. 15 “Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God” Hebrews 13:15 NKJV
31. 15 “That is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.” Hebrews 13:15 NKJV
32. Believers are to offer SPIRITUAL SACRIFICES,
33. Which includes their PRAISE POSSESSIONS even their LIVES.
34. A Sacrifice of praise today would include THANKING CHRIST Sacrifice of praise
35. For His sacrifice on the CROSS And telling others about it.
36. Acts of kindness and sharing are particularly pleasing to God, even when they go unnoticed by others.
37. 1 “Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies?” Romans 12:1 TPT
38. 1 “I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices.” Romans 12:1 TPT
39. 1 “And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart.” Romans 12:1 TPT
40. 1 “For this becomes your genuine expression of worship.” Romans 12:1 TPT
41. God wants us to offer OURSELVES, not animals, as living sacrifices
42. Daily LAYING ASIDE our own desires to follow Him.
43. Putting all our energy & resources at His disposal & TRUSTING Him to guide us.
44. We do this out of GRATITUDE that our sins have been forgiven.
45. God wants only what is BEST FOR US
46. And because He gave His Son to make our new life possible,
47. We should joyfully give OURSELVES as living sacrifices for His service.
48. Financial Giving THE FRUIT OF Financial Giving
49. 15 “For I want you to know that the Philippian church was the only church that supported me” Philippians 4:15 TPT
50. 15 “In the beginning as I went out to preach the gospel. You were the only church that sowed into me financially,” Philippians 4:15 TPT
51. 16 “and when I was in Thessalonica, you supported me for well over a year.” Philippians 4:15 TPT
52. 17 “I mention this not because I’m requesting a gift,” Philippians 4:17 TPT
53. 17 “But so that the fruit of your generosity may bring you an abundant reward.” Philippians 4:17 TPT
54. The PHILIPPIANS shared in Paul’s financial support while he was in prison.
55. The Philippians’ gift was producing spiritual profit just as money deposited in a bank account accrues interest.
56. PAUL said he was not desiring a gift from them, but he was desiring fruit that increases to their credit.
57. He wanted them to experience the blessings of God that would result from their giving.
58. A GIFT is like a SEED, when we give, we are planting, and there will be a HARVEST.
59. When we give, we partner with others who preach the Gospel.
60. We plant seeds that will result in blessings, and we praise God for the gift of salvation.
61. God wants us to give because we WANT to, not because we need to.
62. WE SHOULD GIVE out of the Joy of our hearts for all that God has done for us.
63. Every time we give, we are responding to Christ’s gift of His life on the cross for us.
64. Giving is a way for us to say to Jesus for the Gospel.
65. More People THE FRUIT OF reaching More People For Christ For Christ
66. 35 “Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’?” John 4:35 NKJV
67. 35 “Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!” John 4:35 NKJV
68. 36 “And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life,” John 4:35 NKJV
69. 36 “that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.” John 4:35 NKJV
70. Jesusmakes it clear that around us a continual HARVEST waits to be REAPED. HARVEST REAPED
71. Let’s look around, we can find people ready to hear the Gospel.
72. It’s seeing more people get saved by hearing the good news about Christ.
73. The GOOD NEWS of God’s forgiveness & eternal life through the CROSS of CHRIST.
74. Think about the people who helped lead you to saving faith in Christ.
75. YOUare part of their fruit for eternal life,
76. And now God wants us to bear more fruit for His Kingdom.
77. 16 “You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit,” John 15:16 NKJV
78. 16 “And that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.” John 15:16 NKJV
79. The PURPOSE of our salvation and commission is to produce fruits commission PURPOSE produce fruits salvation produce fruits
80. That will LAST and bring GLORY TO GOD. LAST GLORY TO GOD
81. Faithfulness in bearing fruits will attract the blessings of God. Faithfulness
82. Conclusion
83. We are created to be CONNECTED To our GOD CONNECTED
84. He demands a PERMANENT relationship from us
85. It is only in Him we can Flourish Flourish Be stable and Fruitful
86. For Productivity or fruitfulness, A branch must be CONNECTED TO THE VINE CONNECTED
87. We must be genuinely & consistently CONNECTED In Christ to be fruitful CONNECTED
