one loving friend who is joined to your heart closer than any other!” ROMANS 15:14 TPT
  3. True friendship is 1-Soul in 2-Bodies and in order to

have a friend we must first be a friend.

    emotional, psychological and physical

    says, “I didn’t mean it, I was only joking,…” PROVERBS 26:18-19 TPT

one’s life for one’s friends. JOHN 15:13 NLT
  11. 14 You are my friends if you do what I

    command. JOHN 15:14 NLT
  12. 15 I no longer call you slaves, because a master

doesn’t confide in his slaves. JOHN 15:15 NLT
  13. 15 Now you are my friends, since I have told

you everything the Father told me. JOHN 15:15 NLT
  14. We are to LOVEour friends as Jesus loved us, and

He loved us enough to give His life for us.
  15. But there are other ways to practice SACRIFICIAL LOVE (listening,

helping, encouraging & giving) SACRIFICIAL LOVE
  16. 17 “A friend loves at all times, and is born,

as is a brother, for adversity.” PROVERBS 17:17 AMPC
  17. As we say blood is thicker than water, but there

is a friendship that is even thicker.
  18. 33 “So stop fooling yourselves! Evil companions will corrupt good

morals and character.” 1 CORINTHIANS 15:33 TPT
  19. Keeping company with people who possessed different value system can

corrupt good Christian character (moral value).
  20. Don’t let your relationships with those people (with wrong value

system) lead you away from moral values or cause your faith to waver.
  21. The concept expressed is the superiority of having a genuine

friend rather than many friends who come and go.
  22. Superficial or casual friendships cannot be counted on, but a

true friend stands by us through thick and thin.
  23. 14 “How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness? How

can light live with darkness?” 2 CORINTHIANS 6:14 NLT
  24. Believers should do everything in their power to avoid situations

that could force them to divide their loyalties.
  25. Don’t allow emotion or passion to bind you with someone

who will not be your spiritual partner.
  26. 6 “You can trust a friend who wounds you with

    his honesty, PROVERBS 27:6 TPT
  27. A TRUE FRIEND should always have your best interest at

heart, and enemy obviously does not
  28. Yet a FAITHFUL FRIEND is honest with you even if

wounds occur as a result of it
  29. What it does mean is that we are to be

straight-forward with them at all times speaking the truth in love
  30. And a meeting of minds can hone people so that

they can see their ideas with new clarity, refine them, and shape them into brilliant insight.
  31. 9 “The heartfelt counsel of a friend is as sweet

as perfume and incense.” PROVERBS 27:9 NLT
  32. “10 When disaster strikes, you won’t have to ask your

brother for assistance.” PROVERBS 27:10 NLT
  33. 10 It’s better to go to a neighbor than to

a brother who lives far away. PROVERBS 27:10 NLT
  34. We are blessed by our friends and in return we

are to be true friend to them.
  35. A TRUE FRIEND in the hour of adversity is LIKE

A LAMP on a pitch black night,
  36. A true friend can share your storms with you, BUT

ONLY JESUS can calm your storm.
