    an individual that feels, perceives, thinks, wills, and especially reasons. B: the conscious mental events and capabilities in an organism C: the organized conscious and unconscious adaptive mental activity of an organism
  4. Body noun A. The organized physical substance of an animal

    or plant either living or dead B. A human being
  5. Spirit Noun A. An animating or vital principal held to

    give life to physical organisms B. The immaterial intelligent or sentient part of a person C. The activating or essential principal in fl uencing a person
  6. Community Noun, often attributive A. A uni fi ed body

    of individuals such as 1. People with common interests living in a particular area 2. A group of people with a common characteristic or interest living together within a larger society 3. A body of persons of common or professional interests scattered throughout a larger society 4. A body of persons or nations having common history or common social, economic, and political interests
