    Duration: 0:20 | Aspect Ratio: 16 : 9 DRAFT: JANUARY 22, 2021 Page: 1 / 3 1A 0:00 A white screen. 2A 0:01 Narrator (V.O.):Tuberculosis is a very infectious disease which affects the lungs. It is spread through contact with an infected person, when they cough or sneeze. A picture of the human respiratory fades in. 3A 0:02 Respiratory system slides left as sick person fades in left side of frame. 4A 0:03 5A 0:04 Title fades in frame as person continues coughing. 6A 0:05 Person fades away. Camera zooms into lungs. 7A 0:06 Narrator (V.O): Once inside the body, the TB bacteria lies dormant. This is known as "Latent TB" and doesn't generally cause any harm to the person. Rod-shaped bacteria moves throughout lungs. 8A 0:07 Narrator (V.O. CONT'D): However, 1 in 10 people will show symptoms and suffer from TB when the bacteria become active. 9A 0:08 Narrator (V.O CONT'D): Every year around 3 million people are infected with tuberculosis in India. 10 Healthy people enter frame.

Doctor walks in frame. 12A 0:11 Narrator (CONT'D): However, patients with active symptoms should seek treatment as they are liable to serious consequences. According to reports, around 200 people are diagnosed with Tuberculosis every day. Info bubble drops in from top of screen. 13A 0:12 NARRATOR (V.O.): However, there has been a decline in this number since the Coronavirus pandemic hit. The pandemic is threatening efforts to control TB. Animation plays of a crowd of people bustling near a clinic, with a single row heading out from the crowd and towards the clinic 14A 0:13 NARRATOR (CONT'D): The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that 6.3 million additional new TB cases and an additional 1.4 million TB deaths will be registered between 2020 and 2025. The crowd thins considerably. Statitstic drops from above. 15A 0:14 16A 0:15 NARRATOR: V.O.): Since the symptoms of the virus and TB are similar, most people get tested for Covid-19, and upon receiving a negative result, do not choose to get tested for TB. 17A 0:16 NARRATOR (CONT'D): It is important to understand the difference between the symptoms of Tuberculosis and the novel Coronavirus. 18A 0:17 Two clinics, one for TB and one for Covid. A person will head towards the Covid Clinic, and it is shown that they have tested negative. They will then leave, notably ignoring the prominent TB Clinic.
