  3. Definition: disarmament Disarmament is the act of 1. reducing, limiting,

    or abolishing weapons, and it generally refers to a country’s military or specific type of weaponry. 2. Goal: eliminate all WMDs. + Balanced reduction of conventional weapons
  4. why disarmament anyways? Albert Einstein “I do not know with

    what weapon in WWIII will be fought, but WWIV will be fought with sticks and stones.”

  6. WMDs? A weapon of mass destruction is a nuclear, radiological,

    biological, chemical or other weapon that can kill and bring significant harm to a large number of humans or cause great damage to man-made structures (e.g. buildings), natural structures (e.g. mountains), or the biosphere.
  7. Problem Will NPT do what it was designed for with

    DPRK (Democratic People’s Republic of Korea)’s withdrawing? Why or why not? Solution?
