New Narrative Experiments: Convergence and Hypertext in Fiction Books

The purpose of this work is to make an analysis about the impact that the hypertext and convergence of new medias have caused in the editorial production of fiction novels. Therefore, an investigation was conducted to find out what are the resources used by authors to better engage readers with their narratives. Different narratives from distinct authors were compared and, specifically, the book The Raw Shark Texts, produced by brittish Steven Hall, for being a work that utilizes groundbreaking resources in cross media, in the effort to promote new interaction levels and involvement between the reader and the story.
