PIA Objective Beyond the normative aspects, the objective of the CNRFID is to help RFID users take into account legislative aspects in their project, as soon as possible (regulations, human exposure, safety, respect for privacy and personal data)  Trainings, conferences  Accompaniment  Individual awareness (CNRFID Publication on the PIA was taken up officially by CEN and many European countries) Accompaniment To strengthen the support around the PIA, setting up a partnership between the CNRFID and the CNIL with a convention to:  having a common language that is understandable and complementary  put in place joint communication support  share experiences and direct the actors to the partner (CNIL to CNRFID and vice versa)  reduce the time required for the completion of impact assessment and risk analysis (PIA)

Trend for the Future  140 members (145 contacted)  10% increase in the number of users  CNRFID participates in 15 major events linked to RFID and to NFC in France and internationally  Over 200 invitations to tender for automatic identification solutions and traceability  8 training sessions  Participation of CNRFID in 4 collaborative programmes (objective: 2 gained)  Strategic positioning of CNRFID in European calls for projects  Management of a national aeronautic & space project in the framework of a French Project Call « Filières Industrielles Stratégiques » (Industrial Strategic Sectors)  Installation of the CNRFID action plan around NFC and realisation of a market study on NFC (free of charge) www.centrenational-rfid.com
