This uses the phone’s GPS and simply calculates the distance between them. -Beta - Chat: Once users are connected an in-app chat will be set

    been done before by Rooster and Musketeer. ”When individuals commit acts of personal generosity it sparks a gift culture that replenishes a store of trust” Cold start Issue: Target tightknit, dense communities -e.g University Campuses. UVic Campus for example has approximately 20,000 people Monday-Friday in a 300m radius. People can log in and have an experience for 10 seconds.
  5. -Motivation for users to lend / borrow. -Gain Karma for

    logging in to app and just looking at other people’s requests = instant gratification -Receive a lot of Karma when lend an item and a little bit when borrow and return on time. -Lose karma if don’t return items on time. -Achievements / badges for meeting different goals e.g lending out items to 5 different people or lending something for the whole day.
