An overview of my 3rd-place solution to the Kaggle “Biohub – Cell Tracking During Development” competition, presented at the winners’ call.
The presentation covers a pipeline for tracking cells and reconstructing cell lineages in 3D time-lapse microscopy, with a focus on learning from sparse annotations. The approach combines 2.5D and 3D cell detection, self-supervised dense flow estimation, cell matching, and division identification, integrating their predictions through graph optimization. It also includes ablation studies examining how these components contribute to the final system.
