12. Empathy is seeing with the eyes of another, listening with the ears of another, and feeling with the heart of another. What is empathy? Empathize

17. The 5 Whys an iterative interrogative technique used to explore the cause-and-effect relationships underlying a particular problem. Empathize
18. When you run into an issue, all you have to do is ask yourself “Why?” five times and you’ll most likely get to the source of the problem. Empathize
19. For instance, let’s say that your laptop is busted. (Problems) • Why? Because I dropped it on the floor. • Why? Because when I picked it up, my hands were slippery. • Why? Because I had butter on my hands. • Why? Because when I eat cheesecake, I pick up the butter with my hands to spread it. • Why? Because I don’t own knives. (Root Cause) • Buy some knives!
