This is the first organization in Odisha to introduce the concept of Cardio- Diabetes. It provides comprehensive and scientific management for both heart disease and diabetes. As a matter of fact Cardiovascular diseases are the continuum of diabetes. In most of the people the cause of heart disease is due to late recognition and inadequate comprehensive management of diabetes. Diabetes not only causes Coronary Artery diabetes (Heart attack), it also affects nerves of heart (Cardiac autonomic neuropathy), Diabetic cardiomyopathy (Heart failure). It is also the single major cause of limb amputation( Peripheral vascular disease). Contrary to the popular believe of diabetes means only sugar level, diabetes needs a holistic approach to halt major complications the front runner being Cardiovascular diseases. After completing his degree he got trained in Interventional Cardiology from Apollo Hospital, Ahmedabad, Arneja Heart institute, Nagpur and Madras Medical Mission, Chennai. In Odisha he has worked at Apollo Hospital, Bhubaneswar and Ashwini group of hospitals as Consultant Interventional Cardiologist. Currently he is associated with multiple corporate hospitals of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar as visiting interventional cardiologist. He is a widely acclaimed expert in the area of preventive Cardiology, interventional Cardiology and dialectology where he has carved a name for himself with his passion for his subjects.
