Introducing the card makers! Who are they? Which skills do they need? How many card makers do we need for a rich ecosystem? And when do the different types of card makers get involved?

Chris Tse, Founding Director of the Cardstack Project, answers these questions through the “inverse pyramid model”, which presents all types of card makers—from the framework and product team to the back-end and front-end engineers, plus the Web developers and power users.

Whichever category card makers fall into and whatever skill sets they have, it is more than enough! It’s not necessary to learn NodeJS or Ethereum to contribute to the Card Catalog—to create meaning, write content, and share it with the world. Everyone can play an important role in the Cardstack Ecosystem and thus the creation of Web 3.0.
