3. Introduction My name is Md Eyasin Rahman. I have completed my Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (BSc. in EEE) from one of the most prestigious universities of Bangladesh known as American International University Bangladesh(AIUB) with an outstanding CGPA (3.93) out of 4.00 and honored with the prestigious Magna Cum Laude. My undergraduate degree in EEE laid the foundation of my engineering career and inspired me to pursue an advanced degree in electrical and computer engineering. Page 3

Expertise and Project In my final year project & thesis, I along with my team members carried out a project on “Design & Implementation of Vertical Surface Climbing Cleaner Robot” under my leadership. During this project, I got acquainted with computer programming and was able to apply my theoretical learning to the practical field. I studied how to use various applications of microprocessors to interact with the robot and human commands. I learned and implemented a cleaning system with my robot to make it productive. I was also able to publish a paper “Design & Implementation of Vertical Surface Climbing Cleaner Robot” in International Conference on Intelligent Technologies (CONIT) Karnataka, India. I was able to develop my leadership as well as pressure handling capabilities. During my undergraduate, I have learned about biomedical equipment as well and felt very enthusiastic on those like Electrodes, pacemakers, etc. Page 4
5. There are mainly two-part in the SSIs program. One is Cyberphysical Systems and another one is Smart Biomedical systems. Both are quite interesting but I feel more leaned towards Smart Biomedical Systems. The reason behind it is that I have learned some basic things about Biomedical Electronics equipment such as electrodes, pacemakers, Pulse Oximeter, etc, during my undergraduate. It's a great initiative to improve the healthcare facility for people all over the world. I want to take that chance and make myself capable of it. Parts of SSIs program I am interested in Page 5
6. My Research Interest Without a research interest participating in SSIs program will not be the best option in my opinion. I have also some research interests well. My interest is to work on different smart healthcare equipment and improving the quality of the existing ones. Thank Thank Thank you! you! you! Page 6
