Text Simplification Strategies for People with • DyslexiaStrategies for simplifying text that could make web pages more readable for dyslexic readers. Size Matters (Spacing not) • The results show that font size has a significant effect on the readability and the understandability of the text, while line spacing does not. On the basis of our results, we recommend using18 point font size when designing web text for readers with dyslexia.

MINISTÉRIO DO PLANEJAMENTO Conclusões • Os desafios da acessibilidade digital são os mesmos em qualquer parte do mundo: conscientização; • Não vi trabalhos abrangendo línguas de sinais (...) • Ferramentas automatizadas são um auxilio valioso, mas a avaliação e o feedback humano são mais importantes; • Novas tendências devem incluir a acessibilidade; • Os aprendizados obtidos com o e-MAG e seu arcabouço tem similaridades com o aprendizado de outros grupos de acessibilidade digital (estando, as vezes, à frente!), tendo o governo brasileiro muito a contribuir no cenário internacional na área de acessibilidade. • Teremos muito a apresentar na WWW2014.
