Magmaconf 2014: Intro to Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Genetic Algorithms

When terminator came back from the future he was able to recognize people, navigate through the world and even know the size of clothes.
Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Genetic Algorithms are fields of study that try to do just that! But it is until recently with the new advances that we are starting to see products that use this technology like Microsoft Kinect, Google glass or Google driveless cars!
In this talk, I will explain: * how some of the current Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Genetic algorithms technology works * why are these hard problems * how to start working on your own projects * And I will also give interactive examples on what it can be achieved today and in the future.
