2. who am I? • a programmer • • who works in an office that makes medical education applications • and cares about supporting a culture of sharing -- people can help each other WITH CODE • loves making stuff work • and thought six years ago that she’d be talking about history her whole life
3. let's talk about my (sort of silly) presentation title
4. also, what I’ve done and what I do (and why)
5. let’s look at some examples
6. when we do this stuff we think about (tons of things, of course, but I’m just gonna focus on a few)

12. there's no single way to solve a problem (and programming in the medical world is a very good place to keep that in mind)
13. there are thousands of ways to do this stuff
14. in the spirit of that, let’s solve a problem and finish building part of a medical application that I’ve used!
15. identifying a thing you want to solve is easier than it sounds (that's what I found)
16. SOLVE ALL THE THINGS ...wait a second
17. MAKE SOMETHING (that's more like it)
