He cooks the fish on his wood heated stove while toasting the bread, and when it's done he completes the sandwich with some homemade tartar sauce. FOREST Fritz eats his sandwich as he eats he spots a mouse lurking below his truck, Fritz throws the mouse a piece of his fish sandwich. CUT TO: FOREST After he finishes eating, he gets his fishing rod from the shed, and he walks to the lake. DISSOLVE TO: EXT. LAKE – AFTERNOON When he arrives, he takes a canoe from the branches of an oak tree and sets it in the lake with his fishing rod and the leftover pieces of uncooked fish from earlier. As he gets in it wobbles as all canoes do and once in deeper waters he casts out his line and waits for a bite. CUT TO: INT. CANOE – MOMENTS LATER Suddenly it happens, and the fish pulls harder than any fish that he had ever had on his line before.
