2. 765 Concession road 9 (343) 989-1175 Wistrien@gmail.com FADE IN: EXT. CABIN – MORNING In the dense forests of whistle pines, Ontario, there was a cabin. DISSOLVE TO: INT. CABIN – MORNING FRITZ, a humble 40-year-old man in his forest sanctuary as he is about to leave his cabin he puts some nuts in his pocket to feed any Hungary creature that might cross his path. FRITZ EXITS HIS CABIN FOREST Breathes in the scents of the forest around him and gets to work. CUT TO: FOREST He gets to cutting wood for a cooking fire as he cuts the wood a squirrel walks by, Fritz reaches in his pocket and pulls out a handful of nuts and throws them on the ground. FRITZ Eat up my friend The squirrel eats as Fritz finishes his work. DISSOLVE TO: INT. FOREST – DAY Fritz returns to his cabin with a stack of cut wood.
3. INT. CABIN – DAY Fritz takes a loaf of fresh bread from his counter and pieces of a fish he caught the day before. He cooks the fish on his wood heated stove while toasting the bread, and when it's done he completes the sandwich with some homemade tartar sauce. FOREST Fritz eats his sandwich as he eats he spots a mouse lurking below his truck, Fritz throws the mouse a piece of his fish sandwich. CUT TO: FOREST After he finishes eating, he gets his fishing rod from the shed, and he walks to the lake. DISSOLVE TO: EXT. LAKE – AFTERNOON When he arrives, he takes a canoe from the branches of an oak tree and sets it in the lake with his fishing rod and the leftover pieces of uncooked fish from earlier. As he gets in it wobbles as all canoes do and once in deeper waters he casts out his line and waits for a bite. CUT TO: INT. CANOE – MOMENTS LATER Suddenly it happens, and the fish pulls harder than any fish that he had ever had on his line before. Right before it broke his line, he saw a huge fish, bigger then he thought would be able to live in his small lake. DISSOLVE TO: INT. CANOE – EVENING He paddles back to the shore having lost a hook but having gained
4. a mission to catch that fish. FOREST – EVENING Walking back to his cabin DISSOLVE TO: CABIN – EVENING As soon as he arrives, he gets in his truck and drives to the hardware store. DISSOLVE TO: INT. STORE – EVENING Fritz enters the store and walks up to an employee. FRITZ Hello, can you suggest a strong piece of fishing gear. EMPLOYEE Yes I can, I would suggest a TFO Pro III Combo with a Spider Wire Stealth Blue Camo-Braid FRITZ Ok, thanks, I will get those and a large net as well. Fritz drives back to the cabin. DISSOLVE TO: INT. CABIN – NIGHT Fritz eats some leftover soup from a previous meal as he assembles his new fishing rod. DISSOLVE TO: INT. CANOE – MORNING
5. Fritz starts fishing early to have more chances to catch his target. CANOE – DAY As the day goes on, he catches some fish but not the right one he decides to keep some fish, so he has something nicer to eat that night. CANOE – AFTERNOON Fritz gets another bite, but this one pulls more than the other ones he caught that day. He lets the fish tire its self out then starts to reel in the fish he pulls and pulls, and finally it's right next to the boat, and he picks it up with the net. He got his prize and celebrates on his way back to shore. DISSOLVE TO: INT. CABIN – AFTERNOON Before he cooks the fish he caught that day, he invites friend and family to his house for a feast that night. INT. FOREST – AFTERNOON Then he creates a large fire to cook the fish. DISSOLVE TO: INT. FOREST – NIGHT Fritz's friends and family arrive and have a pleasant dinner together, talking and laughing. FADE OUT.
