18. Deposit in research repository •  IPTs should not be long-term repositories •  Use: – Zenodo – DataONE member – Institutional
19. Versioning •  Updated data = new version •  Updated metadata != new version •  Each version has DOI •  One version-less DOI
20. Registration •  Keep separate from publication •  Single registry •  Allow registration with multiple communities – GBIF, OBIS, project, …
