Tech Interviews Stink (Ignite OSCON 2017)

All the common tech interview practices produce mixed results. Instead of white-boarding we should be working with candidates. Working on exercises, or real code, can provide a better gauge of technical competence, while also identifying the best communicators and collaborators among candidates.
