  1. FESCO Adds New Vessel to Transportation Group Fleet FESCO Transportation

    Group (subsidiary of Summa Group) has expanded their shipping fleet by adding a new vessel. The ship named FESCO Novik and was inducted at the Port of Limassol in Cyprus on March 25th 2014. The Container vessel will be based at Vladivostok and will work under the Russian flag. It will be operated on the cabotage lines Vladivostok – Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky – Magadan. Summa News – April 2014 It can carry up to 150 reefer containers with a gross tonnage of 707 TEU. It will also be required to work in the Far East region and has passed the ice class vessel standard requirements.
  2. Pole of Cold 2014 Sponsored by YATEC Summa Group subsidiary

    company YATEC has been announced as one of the Pole of Cold 2014 general fuel partner. The rally is organized by the Republic of Sakha’s (Yakutia) Automobile and Motorcycle Sports Federation, the Ministry for Enterprise and Tourism Development, the Yakusk City Municipal District administration and Mamont (Mammoth) Off-Highway vehicle Club of Yakutsk. Summa News – April 2014 The rally started in Yakutsk, Ordzhonikidza Square on 19th March 2014 and runs along the Kolyma Highway which is 2032km long and connects Yakutsk with Magadan. The Commercial Director of YATEC JSC, Vladislav Kim, has welcomed the participants to the competition saying, “The rally raid to Oymyakon, the coldest area on Earth is an impressive and memorable event in the Republic, an illustrative example of courage, stamina and proficiency.”
  3. NCSP Group Cargo Turn Over Total 21.6 mln Tonnes The

    Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port Group (NCSP Group), another subsidiary of Summa Group, has announced that their January-February consolidated cargo turnover amounted to 21.6 million tonnes. Summa News – April 2014 Despite 2 days of storm alerts in January and 9 days in February, which caused short term limitations on dispatch of cargo to Novorossiysk and hindered loading operations, the group still managed to decrease year on year lag in total cargo turnover. The container traffic was up 21% in February, grain handling increased by 25% and liquid cargo decreased by 15.1% year on year.
