  1. freshly cut log 2--3’ in height with a circumference of

    at least 1’ cinder blocks or clean cut longer logs/branches (for base) drill w/ 1/2” bits dowel plugs or bag of sawdust spawn candle (for candle wax)
  2. a chainsaw or regular saw that has been cleaned with

    rubbing alcohol wipe cutting surfaces with spore oil lubricants desired log log for 12-24 hours in water

    than dowel plug), these holes should be equally-spaced apart around the circumference of the log in a ring pattern
  6. log on top of cinder blocks or base logs and

    allow for the specific fungi growth period to run its course log may be placed upright in a large bucket filled with sand log if there is a dry spell
