The League of Extraordinarily Shortsighted Agile Superleaders

Leadership is a task for superheroes! To motivate, inspire and build a team that is more than the sum of its parts, you need superpowers: motivation, delegation, empowerment, micro-management, information-retention, protection etc. Some of those superpowers are more positive or negative than the others, depending on the context. But they are all usable in any situation... if you know what you are doing.

In this talk, we will follow a group of extraordinarily shortsighted superheroes, that ruthlessly uses those superpowers. Those powers help them solve many problems, but often also produces nasty side-effects. Each superpower will be pictured with examples and battle scars to show when and how to use it (or not). Finally, we will see how the league of extraordinarily shortsighted agile super-leaders can be used in your teams to trigger important discussions about leadership and empowerment.
