2. THE GLOBAL CLASSROOM The strongest output of the programme is trust — between countries, sectors, disciplines and people. That trust becomes a resource we can bring back to our communities.
3. FROM ATLANTA BACK TO SLOVAKIA What I brought home A clearer public health approach to social and mental health challenges: prevention, communitybased support and cross-sector cooperation. Strengthen community mental health services Design trauma-informed responses for families and victims Connect healthcare, social care and education Turn international learning into local methodology Family and community give meaning to leadership. 4. LEADERSHIP LEARNING Public health is a team sport. Complex problems rarely fit into one institution. The fellowship strengthened my belief that sustainable change needs shared language, coordinated leadership and people who keep showing up. Evidence before assumptions Relationships before formalities Impact before visibility
5. ALUMNI COMMUNITY What I hope we keep building together Joint projects Practical cooperation across countries and disciplines. Study visits Learning by seeing what works in real settings. Training & methodology Tools that teams can use after the event ends. Voice for vulnerable groups Better systems for children, families and people in crisis. Shared experience becomes shared responsibility.
