BID Hardware First generation • Raspberry Pi  (ARMv6k 600MHz, 512MB
Ram) • Connected using 3G air card • Power supplied from Television
BID Hardware Second generation • Changed to allow video ads
playback • Lenovo Q130  (i3 2.0GHz, 4GB ram / Celeron 1.6, 2GB ram) • Connected by LAN to KU local network
BID Software • Running Arch Linux in EFI boot •
Boot to Chromium using systemd • Monitored using Munin
BID Software • Application update via Git • Managed by
Fabric — can rollout update in 3 minutes
Future plans • 11 more screens (incl. SC1) • Automatic
bus route detection • Migrate to CentOS 7 • Web-based control panel
