2. Who am I? ! I am the editor of https://th.wordpress.org/ who translate WordPress into Thai language since 2008 start at version 2.6
3. How do other language works in the past ! We use SVN to store language files and other necessary files
4. How do we translate WordPress in the past ! I don’t know which program other translator in other languages use but I use Poedit (for language file) and notepad (for other php files)
5. How do we translate WordPress in the past ! Disadvantages of using SVN and Poedit ! It suitable for working alone, not for a team • Need one leader to be distributed and review all files. • Need forum to discuss about glossary and other problem. • If there is only one file, it quite difficult for other to help the translation. • Need tools to upload to SVN (after complete translation need more step to upload file to SVN that store the language files.
6. Community of WordPress translation There are two places for contact other translator • Make.wordpress.org/polyglots • Wordpress.slack.com Community is good for translator, we will share knowledge to each other and update any news for inspire each other. Thai community is Thai-L10n group mail.

What is translate.wordpress.org Translate.wordpress.org is the current method for translator to translate WordPress into their native language • It suitable for working more than one translator (Anyone can work at the same time) • No need for distribute the translation work • No need to upload the translation files to repository such as SVN server

What is translate.wordpress.org • GlossPress come with glossary that ease your translation work • Can filter strings by its status, keyword and translator • Everyone can suggest the translation for untranslated string, No need to be a editor. Anyway the string won’t be ready until the editor approve it.
9. How to create the release package • After all string were translated, the package for WordPress new version will be ready to create at https:// th.wordpress.org

11. How to create the release package • After the successful of WordPress Core translated. Right now we can use GlotPress to translate Themes, Plugin, WordPress App for Android and IOS.
12. Who Am I? (again?) I’m an accountant who didn’t know any coding. Around ten years ago, I’m interested to create my own website. Then I found WordPress. It suitable my need (fast, stable and easy to use). The more I use the more I love it. Therefore I want to contribute to WordPress community. (since WordPress are open source and free to use). Then I found the way that I can contribute to WordPress (by Translate it). No matter how good you are. It’s matter when you start doing something.
