5. 5 Alberto Lusoli Assignment 3 - Purpose The purpose of this assignment is to give you an opportunity to explore your topic from Assignment 2 by conducting research. Unlike the first assignment, the objective of this assignment is to use published writing and research to provide additional insight into your reflections. As in the second assignment, your paper should be 1000-1250 words (3-4 pages). • 20 marks total • 15 paper • 5 peer-review
6. 6 Alberto Lusoli Objective Objective: This assignment is NOT an essay. This is just a literature review. It is supposed to spring from your observations and reflections, not what you "want to write about," or "want to examine.“ Our objective is to take what we saw, and what we thought about, and then examine the literature to see what the literature has to say about that. to determine what is known and what is not known about the medium in question.
7. 7 Alberto Lusoli Requirements 1. Your reflections on the previous topic from assignment two OR on a new topic 1. In case you want to examine a new topic, let’s talk about it today 2. 3 sources that make some sort of comment (supporting or refuting) on the reflections/observations that you made. a. 2 of your sources must be an academic journal article OR a government publication (e.g. government research report or a government policy document). b. The other source can be any of the following: book, magazine or newspaper article, industry or trade journal. 3. Your writing should demonstrate that you have read and understood the material and can explain it to someone else in your own words
