 ◦ Goals change. Revisit them every so often to see if anything has changed. 7

9. Respect & Understanding ◦ It will make you more patient. ◦ Mutual respect makes your work environment enjoyable ◦ Respect allows you the freedom to trust the people they trust. ◦ If/when you disagree, talk it out. 9

11. Find someone who compliments your strengths and weaknesses ◦ Look into doing a DISC assessment to figure out your behaviors ◦ Behaviors don’t necessarily equal strengths & weaknesses but will give you an idea of how you’d work together. 11

18. Money, Money, Money ◦ If you’re going to start an LLC or partnership, make sure the person you’re going into business with has sound financials. ◦ Inability to manage your personal finances doesn’t have to be a deal breaker but it should lead to a deeper conversation. 18
