2. The Internet. Where did it come from? Who invented the WorldWideWeb? Who invented HTTP?
3. Well ... It was this guy, of course. Umm...
4. The father of the WorldWideWeb. And we are his minions. I mean this guy...Tim Berners-Lee
5. All you could do was GET documents. The first spec was 0.9 - It was kinda primitive.
6. The Stone Age of Browser Technology - circa 1991
7. With HTTP 1.0, we could GET and POST documents We got status codes and headers We got so much functionality...
8. We could finally sell our old crap we left.... ...in our mom’s garage.
9. It was if lightning had struck!
10. The web gained momentum!
11. With HTTP 1.1, the web was ready to break out of the atmosphere... With conditional requests, caching and more, we had awesome new ways to...
12. Sell our old crap! No wait!
13. Teach developers how to make sites... ...to sell their old crap!
14. Which means, in the future... ...this guy might not be regarded as the father of the internet.
15. It will be this guy... ...and we are his minions.
