1. CMM-Manager Tutorial Alignments – Canned, Level, Align, Set Origin, Free Position & CAD
2. Canned Alignments  From Ribbon Tab  Alignment>Canned  3-2-1  Plane-Circle-Circle  Etc…
3. Canned Alignments  3-2-1  Measure Top, Front, Side  Set Axes direction  Press [OK]
4. Canned Alignments  Plane-Circle-Circle  Measure Top & 2 Circles  Set Axes direction  Press [OK]
5. Traditional Alignments  From Ribbon Tab  Alignment>Traditional  Level, Align, Set Origin  Offset Align  Translate / Rotate
6. Traditional Alignments  Level  Choose measured Plane, Cylinder, Cone, etc.  Set Axes direction  Press [OK]
7. Traditional Alignments  Align  Choose measured Line, Cylinder, Circle, etc.  Set Working Plane & Axes direction  Press [OK]
8. Traditional Alignments  Set Origin  Choose measured Point, Circle, etc.  Set Axis Options  Press [OK]
9. Traditional Alignments  Offset Align  Choose measured Point, Circle, etc.  Set Working Plane & Offsets  Press [OK]
10. Traditional Alignments  Translate / Rotate  Set Translation Value(s)  Set Rotation Axis & Angle  Press [OK]
11. Advanced Alignments  From Ribbon Tab  Alignment>Advanced  CAD  Free Position  RPS
12. Advanced Alignments  CAD Alignment  Pick minimum 6 points from 3D CAD  Measure Points in approximate location as picked  Press [OK] to accept results 1 2
13. Advanced Alignments  Free Position  Move CMM Probe to location near part  i.e. – corner or center of small hole  Press [OK]
14. Advanced Alignments  RPS (Relative Point System)  Select Datum Targets and Datum Features  Apply Locks and Offsets to each Datum Feature  Press [OK]
15. Ready to Measure
