on the final drive and brake (6). Adjust bolts (3) until the bolts are against the final drive hub. If necessary, adjust Tooling (A) to put the final drive in a level position. The weight of the final drive and the brake is approximately 1270 kg (2800 lb). 2. Put final drive (6) and the O-ring seal in position on the machine. Illustration 2 g01088887 3. Install three bolts (5). The bolts hold the brake to the frame. Illustration 3 g00644390 4. Install bolts (2) that hold the final drive in place. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 1150 ± 150 N·m (850 ± 110 lb ft). 5. Remove Tooling (A). 6. Install three bolts (3). 7. Apply Tooling (B) to the bolts that held tooling (A) in place. Tighten the nuts to a torque of 650 ± 70 N·m (480 ± 50 lb ft). Tighten the nuts an additional 120 degrees. End By: a. Install the outer axle. See Disassembly and Assembly, "Axle - Install". b.
