2. Today’s task: “Describe your leadership role in a library technology project. How did the project come about, how did it progress, and what was the outcome?”
5. A confluence of events •Migration from Millennium to Sierra. •Significant staff turnover and retirements in library systems. •Shifting ownership of ILS from IT to Technical Services.
8. Starting to rebuild •Work with other managers in Technical Services to document and rank as many reproducible issues as possible. •Visit staff reporting errors in person at different libraries on campus. •Encourage open mindedness about workflows. •High degree of transparency.

12. Outcomes •Increased capacity of library staff in Sierra. •Higher morale after site visit. •More iterative, flexible view of library systems. •Improved communication.
