Accessible iOS Apps

Accessible iOS Apps

Apple’s iPhone and iPad are beautiful minimalist devices that eschew lots of physical buttons for a single pane of touch-sensitive glass. This may not seem like the description of a particularly accessible device, but iOS includes many features to make these devices more accessible.
In this presentation, Jake discusses the accessibility features of iOS and the tools that developers of iOS apps can use to make their apps more accessible. He’ll also describe how these tools were used in developing the upcoming iview for the iPhone.
