In this talk given at the CMS Africa Summit 2018 in Kigali (Rwanda), I shared how translations for WordPress core, themes and plugins work as a community project and how you can get involved.

I also gave some tricks on translating some key strings on your front-facing site to give your business just that extra nudge of familiarity, even when you're using French or English.
