Of teams and unicorns

Both designers and developers have the same target- but unfortunately they speak different languages.
This talk will cover some of the practices for understanding and appreciating each other´s discipline and meeting each other halfway in order of ensuring a more efficient workflow.
Designers should engage and understand the technical possibilities as well as restrictions of Android. We will cover how to approach specific challenges such as pixel/dpi conversion, working with various collaboration tools and understanding fragmentation.
Lastly, should in-house designers learn how to code?
We will discuss the elusive designer-developer hybrids and what would be the pros and cons of creating a great, stabile team without the need of “unicorns”.
