  1. Packaging Packaging refers to materials used to wrap or protect

    goods, the business or process of packing goods, or the presentation of a person, product, or action in a particular way.

    What is the target audience for it?
  3. 3 WHERE -— • Where can it be purchased? •

    Will it be sold with other items?
  4. So why is it important to think about all of

    these things, isn’t one box the same as another?
  5. Why Buy? Grocery store aisles are full of eye-catching product

    packages clamoring for your attention and your dollars.
  6. With rainbow colors on a slim can, this option has

    what it takes to be the most popular choice. Energy drink packaging tends to use bold, bright colors to convey excitement and power.
  7. PACKAGING • 3 DIMENSIONAL
 Even though its 3-D design the

    sides flat in your design program. • MATERIAL
 Think about what material is best suited for you package. Boxboard, Cardboard, Plastic. Many substrates to choose from. • FUNCTION
 Some packages need to function as more than just the package that something comes in, but also a container for the product itself. • PROTOTYPE
 Make sure to print and fold your package many times before sending it out for final print. If your package has multiple pieces make sure all of it is tested before hand.
  8. Packaging For this project you must design packaging for a

    product or service provided by your company. You may choose what product or service you wish to create a package for. Remember to make it consistent with the rest of your brand. You must minimally create 2 pieces of packaging. Your packages are due on Monday, April 13
