  1.  Follow the guidelines!  Proofread – make no mistakes.

     Show what you are adding to the field.
  2.  Question/topic – What did I study?  Method –

    How did I study it?  Results – What did I find?  Concluding sentence – Why is it important?
  3.  Give a one-sentence summary.  Example:  This paper

    uses a cultural lens to examine the changing role of principals in Thailand.  This study was primarily conducted to determine the learning style preferences of students enrolled in Literature I classes.
  4.  Briefly describe how you collected data.  Examples: 

    Using a focus group . . .  Surveys were sent to . . .  A Five Factor Model of personality assessment was . . .
  5.  In this paper, findings from a large-scale study in

    which parts of a high-intermediate EFL course were flipped will be reported from two questionnaires and from teacher observations and reflections.
  6.  This pilot study made use of semi-structured interviews with

    six individual English language instructors of an undergraduate freshman remedial English course at a university to investigate the teachers' roles in using new technologies in their classes.
  7.  Briefly give your main and most interesting findings from

    the data.  Example:  Findings show that the flipped classes had initial difficulty in adjusting to a flipped environment, but they gradually became more comfortable after 7 weeks of study.
  8.  Conclude with the important implications.  Example:  One

    of these issues is concerned with the suitability of certain imported teaching techniques in settings where English is seldom used outside the classroom. Some of the problems are conceptualized as dilemmas.
  9.  This paper helps us in understanding the nature of

    feedback as well as understanding how to apply it with the goal of making our students stronger, more independent, and self-regulating writers.​
