Old world meets new kid: SAP & WooCommerce
In my talk I will present how our company booncon PIXELS has migrated a custom built web-store to WooCommerce. The shop contains around 32,000 product variants in two languages and has a basic connection to SAP importing products and exporting orders. I will show how we convinced our client to believe in WooCommerce and what have been the main reasons to use it. Then I will go into detail about some of the key challenges we have faced and how we solved them. In detail I will talk about i18n, writing custom migration scripts and special features like pdf-creation. Lastly I will share some feedback from our client and what is coming next in the project. This will touch the WooCommerce REST API and user based custom prices.
