And whoever helps ease a difficulty in the world, Allah will grant him ease from a difficulty in the world and in the Hereafter. And whoever covers the faults of Muslim, Allah will cover his faults for him in the world and the Hereafter. And Allah is engaged in helping the worshipper as long as he is engaged in helping his brother.” (At-Tirmizi)

Dua To Shield Oneself From Calamity That Befalls Others Ibnu Umar narrated that the Prophet said: “Whoever unexpectedly comes across a person suffering from a calamity and says: Alhamdulillaahil lazii ‘aafaanii mimma ibtalaaka bihii wa faddholanii ‘alaa kathiirin mimman khalaqa tafdhiilan (Praise is to Allah who has kept me safe from that which has afflicted you and preferred me over many of those whom He has created) will be kept safe from that calamity, no matter what it is.” (Ibnu Majah)
