    him) narrated that: The Messenger of Allah said: “Whoever relieves a Muslim of a burden from the burdens of the world, Allah will relieve him of a burden from the burdens on the day of Judgement. And whoever helps ease a difficulty in the world, Allah will grant him ease from a difficulty in the world and in the Hereafter. And whoever covers the faults of Muslim, Allah will cover his faults for him in the world and the Hereafter. And Allah is engaged in helping the worshipper as long as he is engaged in helping his brother.” (At-Tirmizi)

    said: “Take refuge with Allah from the difficulties of severe calamities, from having an evil end and a bad fate and from the malicious joy of your enemies.”

    Umar narrated that the Prophet said: “Whoever unexpectedly comes across a person suffering from a calamity and says: Alhamdulillaahil lazii ‘aafaanii mimma ibtalaaka bihii wa faddholanii ‘alaa kathiirin mimman khalaqa tafdhiilan (Praise is to Allah who has kept me safe from that which has afflicted you and preferred me over many of those whom He has created) will be kept safe from that calamity, no matter what it is.” (Ibnu Majah)

    minhaa. “O Allah grant me the rewards from this musibah that befalls me and replace for me something better than it.”
