2. a. Create a new project named Lab-02. Different versions of ArcGIS Pro may have a different initial screen. Look to create a new project.
3. b. Confirm the needed data is available in Lab-02/data.

5. 2. Rename the map
6. 3. Add the MO_DEMOS_JeffCityRegion.shp data
7. 4. Remove the basemap
8. 5. Map population density. First, navigate to symbology
9. 5. Then, select graduated colors
10. 5. Select the field for population estimates, and normalize by SQKM. Use an appropriate color scheme
11. 6. Export the map
12. 6. Make sure to specify .png at 300 dpi and that you are saving to the results/ folder.

14. 7. Rename it
15. 7. Add the Jeff City Boundary
16. 7. Select the northeastern most section
17. 7. Make a new layer from selection
18. 8. Rename these layers
19. 9. Symbolize JeffCity Ground
20. 10. Symbolize JeffCity Main
21. 11. Add the streets feature class
22. 12. Make sure streets is above the city layers
23. 13. Symbolize the streets with a width of 0.4 and gray (104,104,104)
24. 13. Symbolize the streets with a width of 0.4 and gray (104,104,104)
25. 13. Symbolize the streets with a width of 0.4 and gray (104,104,104)
26. 14. Add the warning sirens feature class
27. 15. Select the warning sirens in the Main part of Jeff City This makes it so that only the points are selectable
28. 15. Select the warning sirens in the Main part of Jeff City After selecting the points
29. 15. Symbolize as size 8, red (255, 0, 0)
30. 16. Symbolize the other warning sirens as size 4, gray (78,78,78)
31. 17. Check order of layers
32. 18. Zoom to the JeffCity main layer
33. 19. Save as a png at 300 dpi, in the results folder
