This is a research presentation on communication design studio, Zetalab, based in Milan. For a field school research program that I was a part of in 2014, we interviewed various designers, architects, and design-thinkers around Italy.

  13. In these events, the haiku is used by artists to

    create silk- screen decorations for Moleskine notebooks. The partici- pants can choose from different frames, colors to create their own personal design. Silk screen printing is one of the main techniques used by Moleskine to customize notebooks.
  14. M O L E S K I N E W

    O R D S Zetalab designed and produced a small literature event for Moleskine, asking people inside stores to express their feelings and ideas writing and sharing short poems and stories on Moleskine Cahiers using a selection of rubber stamps. This event has taken place in all over Europe.

    the project permanently in synergy with Smemoranda, almost in symbiosis.   18. The Milano FilmFestival consists of a format containing elements, which

    are common to both Esterni and Festival. Namely, the importance of culture as a meeting moment, the film world, the international nature, and visual experi- mentation. Each year since 2001 Zetalab designs a new visual identity for the running edition, a whole new format that is ap- plied to the whole communication materials.
