  1. Module 5 - Phase 3 of 3: get started Wed,

4/27 9:45AM 4:51 SUMMARY KEYWORDS calendar, work, activity, week, enter, remind, setting, planter, biggest chunk, taekwondo, plan, pomodoro, snack, data entry, deeds, create, next few days, phase, system, big kahuna SPEAKERS Patricia Sung Patricia Sung 00:00 Hey mama, welcome back to Module Five, we're in phase three. So we've already talked about the first few phases, which are setting up the calendar, and then assessing what you're doing right now. And now we're going to actually enter the items that we have into our calendar. Patricia Sung 00:17 Now, this is the big kahuna, it's the biggest chunk of work that we're going to do here, but don't panic, we will get through all of it, we're not going to do it. All right, now we're just going to do a small section, and we're gonna get there, we're gonna do it together, we will do it, we can do hard things. So keep in mind that we are not writing down every activity that's like till the end of time, I want you to focus on doing about the next month, because like we said, we have on our scientists code, we're experimenting, we might be like, Oh, I'm in this paper calendar, and it's not working for me, I'm gonna use digital or like, I really love the paper, this one doesn't have enough space, I need more space to write and you need to change your planter later to fit the system that you need. So we're only looking at about the next month. And then once you're happy with your system, then we'll move out to farther and farther out dates in the future. Patricia Sung 01:09 So you've already gathered in our last video, you gathered up all the calendars that you have, and you know what needs to go in your calendar for the upcoming, like, four weeks or to the end of the month. So you're going to break it down. We're going to create a plan. What kinds of things do we need to enter? You got all your calendars? And how much time do you have, in the next few days or week to get these in? Do you have some little cracks the day where you can stick them in? Are you somebody who's like I want to sit down and work on this for an hour straight, what's going to be the best for your brain, I want you to chunk it, we're not going to try to go super far out at least let's get the next two weeks in preferably next month. And
  2. maybe it works for you to do it by week,

maybe it makes sense for you to do it by person in your family, maybe it makes sense to do it, you know, by type of calendar, like do the school calendar first, then do activity calendars. Patricia Sung 02:10 Remind yourself that as you're doing this, it is a lot easier to maintain it than it is actually setting it up setting up feels like a lot of work. But once you already have things in there and you're moving and rockin and rollin, it's going to be a lot less stressful in the maintenance phase than it is right now. Because right now it feels like a lot. Remind yourself of your why why are we doing this? And then we're going to ask for help. So there's lots of ways that we can ask for help. We're going to keep our notes by our side. So grab those questions from step one that were in the previous slide. Have them by your side while you're filling in your calendar. So you make sure you know, okay, what am I actually doing here? I'm following these questions right here on this list. Patricia Sung 02:53 You can body double, maybe there's someone else in the group who is taking the class. So that would like to pair up and say yes, we're both going to do this after the kids go to bed on Thursday night together. You can ask a friend for help someone who's super data driven to help you get them all the deeds that are like not in yet. And at the start, obviously you you're not going to ask them you know, every day to put the items in for you unless like maybe you have a like an assistant, that'd be amazing. But you can definitely let someone to help you who likes doing this kind of like data entry, to help you out, will work for treats. If you need to bribe yourself, do it. Whatever we got to do to get through this, we got to motivate ourselves in whatever way works. Patricia Sung 03:35 So go ahead and set up like hey, I'm gonna try to get in 15 events and then I'm gonna go take a break and watch some mindless TV or have a little snack, put on some good music, employ your children, if you have teenagers, they can for sure enter their own activities if you teach them how to enter them with the correct information. And that is a life skill that will help them later. So employ those humans that you created to help you out. Or you could Pomodoro technique where you work for 25 minutes and take a five minute break. Lots of different ways to get it done. But we do want to break it down into pieces. They're not scaling a mountain all at once. Patricia Sung 04:14 So your activity is state your plan of attack. Ask for help. Plan out how you're going to work on it in on sections. And can you stick it into like some of the crevices of your day like you've waiting time where you know you're waiting for kids to get out of Taekwondo. Can you work on it then be kind to yourself, jump back in when you're getting stressed out and you're off track.
  3. We'll keep on tracking and then plan for when you

watch the next video, remind yourself of your motivation and high five you're doing a great job. We will get there together and I'll talk to you soon.
